Available Settings
Tixa Study is made to fit the needs of your school, that's why your school has certain customisable settings you can adjust to achieve this. These are the following settings you can adjust in Tixa Study:
Grading Scheme
The grading scheme is useful for choosing how you would like to assign grades to numerical scores. The 3 available options are the WAEC Standard grading, 5-letter grading and 13-letter grading scheme option. The default is the WAEC Standard grading.
Average Pass %
This determines the minimum cummulative average score the system will determine as a pass. The options are 50%, 55%, 60% and 65%. The default is 50%.
Test/Examination Score Ratio
The total expected score for every result is a 100 marks, this setting determines how the marks will be shared between what is regarded as the school's official test and its official examination. The options are 40/60, 50/50 and 30/70. The default is 40/60.
Information
You can adjust any of these settings only when a result set is not currently being entered. However, even after adjustment, the Test/Examination Score Ratio setting does not change retrospectively.
How to Adjust
Click on the "Settings" link on either the "Overview" dropdown on the sidebar or the bottom navigation. Here you can adjust any setting of your choice and save. If you have never adjusted the settings, the system uses the default
